High Road Auctions at The Chiswick Summer Fair!

High Road Auctions is pleased to announce it will be sponsoring The Chiswick Summer Fair for a second year running!  On Saturday 30th June, Turnham Green will be transformed between 11:30 am to 4:30 pm for a day of fun, food and wonderful prizes in aid of worthy local charities.  

 

After the success of last year’s fair we will again be sponsoring the Valuations Tent.  Our specialists will be on hand all day providing free valuations so if you have ever wanted to learn more about your silver, paintings or jewellery, now is your chance!  So before disposing of old and unwanted items, visit us for a valuation.   It is the perfect way to recycle, uprgrade & refresh your home.  We welcome anything antique, vintage, collectable or decorative.  So whether you bring along porcelain, ceramics, paintings, jewellery, silver, glassware or collectables, we will help you see your items in a new light, discover their history and find out how much they are worth. Just imagine what you might discover!

 

All valuations are free - there is absolutely no obligation to sell with us and we won’t be taking items for sale on the day.

 

We will also be hosting the Annual Auction from 12:30 - 01:30.  The silent auction features fifty amazing lots to be sold in aid of local charities.

 

Some hightlights of the auction are...

    

• A weekend stay for two in a Moran Group Hotel, Dublin which includes dinner for one night and the winner can choose any of the Moran hotels in Dublin to stay in.  
• Two tickets to Sweeny Todd, The Musical and backstage to meet the Oscar nominated star of the show, Imelda Staunton for Thursday 19th July performance.
• A Chiswick Fire Station visit/party for up to thirty children
• A Burberry leather Hobo Bag rrp £650.00
• A photo session by celebrity photographer Stefan Reimschussel.  Stefan is a famous celebrity photographer who's past clients include Kylie Minogue and Johnny Depp.
• Three bespoke Fred Perry tops each individually designed and donated by celebrated artist Sir Peter Blake.  Each will be personally signed by Sir Peter, making them true collector's items.
• A tour of the House of Lords and Tea for Two accompanied by Viscount Simon.
• A Porsche for the weekend
• The Park Club 1 month family pass
• 1 free term at The Little Gym
• Afternoon tea for four at The Silver Room, Hush

 

And if that was not enough Jeremy Vine, BBC Radio Two presenter, is opening the fair and will be both signing and selling his new book 'It's All News To Me', which was published on the 7th June.  As one of the best known voices in Britain, his book charts the past 25 years working at the BBC in his unmistakably lively style.  The book is normally priced at £18 but will be selling for £15 at the fair with all profits going to charity!
