High Road Auctions is pleased to announce the integration of social network sharing tools on its website. Instead of simply offering the Facebook 'Like' or Twitter 'Tweet' options, High Road Auctions is now connected to over 300 of the world’s most popular social networks including Facebook, Twitter, Google +1, LinkedIn and AOL Mail.

The social network links appear as small buttons throughout the online catalogue and are connected to every lot entry.  Once selected, each lot listing now includes lot details, image, absentee and telephone bid options, as well as a list of social network buttons.

The social network links now allow visitors around the world to easily share specific information with others; whether it is something interesting they have found, an item they like or something they are planning to bid for.  Sharing is easier, simpler and immediate and allows visitors to customise their website experience.

Jacqueline Towers-Perkins, Marketing and Research Manager, says, ‘The integration of these services allows us to become better connected with our audience and enables us to further understand what our customers are interested in and what they want from our website.’

The integration of the social network tools add to the other online features that High Road Auctions has already incorporated.  The auction house offers live online bidding, connects with audiences on social networks and provides a weekly email newsletter.   Customers can also create online accounts with personalised wish lists and lot alerts from highroadauctions.co.uk.
